Disabled students at UEL are facing real barriers: dela ys to TLSRs\, inaccessible teaching\, unclear systems\, missed adjustment s\, and the emotional weight of constantly having to justify needs. \ ;

The Students'\; Union'\;s Disabled Students Group\,&nbs p\;led by Inclusion Officer Dipika Gokulnath\, is a student-led space bui lt to challenge that reality with dignity\, honesty\, and solidarity.&nbs p\;

You do not need a diagnosis to attend. Whether you are disa bled\, neurodivergent\, living with long-term illness\, or simply struggl ing with access at university\, \;this space is yours. \;All disa bilities welcome. No proof \;required.

This \;year&rsqu o\;s \;launch offers a calm\, confidential\, and respectful environme nt to share as much or as little as you \;choose\, \;speaking ope nly\, listening quietly\, or writing anonymously. The focus of the discus sion is on \;what&rsquo\;s \;not working around you\, so that we can work to change it. \;

We \;won&rsquo\;t \;minim ise your concerns \;or brush them \;aside. We will turn your thou ghts into action. \;

What students share here will directly shape the Disabled Students Group&rsquo\;s priorities\, \;and the ch ange we commit to fight for. We will hold ourselves accountable to ensure what is raised \;is not forgotten. We will turn experiences into dem ands\, demands into campaigns\, and campaigns into results. \; \;
