Disabled students at UEL are facing real barriers: delays to TLSR s\, inaccessible teaching\, unclear systems\, missed adjustments\, and th e emotional weight of constantly having to justify needs. \;

\n\n< p>The Students'\; Union'\;s Disabled Students Group\, \;led by Inclusion Officer Dipika Gokulnath\, is a student-led space built to chal lenge that reality with dignity\, honesty\, and solidarity. \;

You do not need a diagnosis to attend. Whether you are disabled\, neu rodivergent\, living with long-term illness\, or simply struggling with a ccess at university\, \;this space is yours. \;All disabilities w elcome. No proof \;required.

This \;year&rsquo\;s \ ;launch offers a calm\, confidential\, and respectful environment to shar e as much or as little as you \;choose\, \;speaking openly\, list ening quietly\, or writing anonymously. The focus of the discussion is on  \;what&rsquo\;s \;not working around you\, so that we can work t o change it. \;

We \;won&rsquo\;t \;minimise your c oncerns \;or brush them \;aside. We will turn your thoughts into action. \;

What students share here will directly shape the Disabled Students Group&rsquo\;s priorities\, \;and the change we co mmit to fight for. We will hold ourselves accountable to ensure what is r aised \;is not forgotten. We will turn experiences into demands\, dem ands into campaigns\, and campaigns into results. \; \;
