The Line Stratford Art Tour

Thursday 28 September 2023 - 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Olympic Park

Join us for a professional guided tour of The Line. The Line is a free public art trail in East London that connects Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and The O2, following the waterways and the line of the Greenwich Meridian. Its outdoor exhibition programme offers a journey through a dynamic urban landscape where everyone can explore art, nature and heritage for free. Featured artists include Tracey Emin, Antony Gormley, Larry Achiampong and Madge Gill.

The entire route takes four hours to complete or visit different sections across different days – the changing seasons and tides mean no two visits are the same.

Students can meet our student officers at Stratford's Water Lane campus for a steady walk to the meeting point. The group will start walking 14:45 sharp, so don't be late or you'll have to make your own way there. Be aware that you'll need to pay for your own travel costs. For those travelling there directly, the meeting point will be Café East 20 in the Olympic Park. The full address is Kiosk 1, Tessa Jowell Boulevard, London E20 2AG. Keep an eye out for our staff's light blue tees! Make sure that you arrive up to 15 mins before the event's start time. If you are late, you might miss out! Wear comfortable shoes and in the case of hot weather, ensure you bring a bottle of water.
