Garba night is a vibrant and joyous Indian festival to begin our academic year. Navratri ("nine nights") is a Hindu festival dedicated to the worship of the goddess Durga, who symbolises the divine feminine energy. During this time, people come together to honor Maa Durga's various forms and manifestations.
The festival involves colorful decorations, traditional music, and energetic dances, Garba and Dandiya.
Participants are encouraged to wear traditional attire and dance their heart out. It's a time of cultural and spiritual significance, fostering a sense of community and devotion.
The event is open to all students.

Tickets
You must buy a ticket in advance of the event. Please do not buy a ticket if you do not intend to attend as you will deny somebody else a space.
This event is for current students only.
You must be a member of the Indian Society to attend. You can join for free when you check out.
