Islamic Society Dars

Thursday 20 February 2025 - 1pm - 3pm
Arthur Edwards Building, Stratford

Join us for an insightful lecture on the rulings of fasting in Islam as we prepare for the blessed month of Ramadan. Whether you are observing Ramadan or simply want to learn more about its significance, this session will provide a clear understanding of the religious guidelines surrounding fasting. This Dars event will provide students with a deeper understanding of Ramadan's spiritual and practical aspects, encourage reflection, and help them prepare mentally and emotionally for the upcoming month of fasting.

A Dars is an Islamic lesson or lecture focused on religious teachings, often covering topics like the Quran, Hadith, and Islamic principles. It is usually delivered by a scholar or knowledgeable speaker in mosques, homes, or educational settings, aiming to increase understanding and spiritual growth among attendees.
