The Kegites Society is a vibrant Afro-cultural student group dedicated to promoting African heritage, unity, and fellowship through music, dance, and cultural expression. Rooted in tradition and the spirit of togetherness, we create a welcoming space where students can connect, relax, and celebrate diversity. Through activities such as gyration sessions (drumming, singing, and dancing), cultural discussions, networking events, and social gatherings, we provide a “home away from home” for African and non-African students alike.
Joining the Kegites Society means: - Becoming part of a supportive community built on friendship and cultural pride - Exploring African traditions in fun and creative ways - Networking with students and alumni across the UK and globally - Taking part in unforgettable events filled with music, games, and fellowship
Whether you’re looking to embrace your cultural roots, make new friends, or just enjoy a lively atmosphere after classes, the Kegites Society welcomes you.
