societies and student groups

Academic student groups

Academic groups are student led groups that run events and activities, which give you the space to explore your subject area further.

This could be through events such as guest lectures, study groups, socialising with your course mates or meeting future employers or students from complementary subject areas.

*We are keen to hear from academic staff who are interested in helping set the direction for our academic student groups. If you would like have a discussion about this, please contact: l.edwards@uel.ac.uk.
