Who are we?
East London Students' Union is a membership organisation representing around 20,000 students living here in London. Based in the London Borough of Newham, we have three campuses - one in Docklands and two in Stratford - providing inspiring spaces for students to study, live, and have fun.
Who are our students?
Our student community is deeply diverse, with students from 140 different countries, a multitude of ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds, and a bigger age range than you might expect. Their interests, lifestyles and buying habits also vary significantly, establishing an open-mindedness about a plethora of brands.

STUDENTS' UNION FAIR
Our largest event of the year is the Students' Union Fair. It will take place on Wednesday 4 October with more than 100 stalls including clubs, groups and societies, university services, and external brands and organisations. The fair is the biggest opportunity of the year to engage with receptive and excited UEL students as they get to grips with university life. We expect several thousand students to attend from all years/levels. Because we're running the event a week later this year, we're anticipating much greater attendance by returning students. Our one-way system ensures all students pass every stall, meaning brands can speak to every single attendee.
Gold (large/national): £450 (Gold stalls are in prime footfall locations)
Silver (small/local): £250
Bronze (charity/not-for-profit): £150
Stall includes 3m x 2m floor space; 1.8m x 0.75m table; backboard for posters; two chairs; electricity on request subject to availability.

EMAIL
Almost every student is subscribed to our regular emails, making our email newsletters the biggest and most effective channel for communicating with our student members throughout the year. Typical open rates range from 25-35%, meaning your message could be seen by more than 7,000 students.

SOCIAL
We have a considerable presence on Instagram (3,300 followers), Twitter (3,000) and Facebook (7,500), with the opportunity for brands to book ad posts to promote their products and services directly to scrolling students.
£50 for one post / £75 for two posts
WEBSITE BANNER
Add a homepage banner to our website – our one-stop shop for union info, advice, groups and campaigns – to get your brand discovered by our most engaged and proactive members. Other website options available on request.
£250 for two weeks / £350 for four weeks
PRINT DISTRIBUTION
Flyers are a great way to get students’ attention to promote new products, services, sales promotions and forthcoming events. Why not supplement your brand’s digital marketing with a visit to campus to hand out flyers?
£150 for one campus / £250 for two campuses
ON-CAMPUS ACTIVATION
Whether you’d like to bring a vehicle on campus to hand out flyers and freebies, or you need space for an exciting brand activation, we’ll make that happen.
