    Apply to be a school representative


    Here’s everything you need to know about eligibility to apply, how to apply, and the process to confirm yourself as a candidate.

    Who is eligible?

    You must have completed one year as a course representative at level four or above. This must have been before September 2025.

    How to apply

    You must attend a training and preparation session. Attendance is compulsory. We will teach you about the roles, the rules of the elections, how you can write a good statement/manifesto, and how to organise a campaign.

    We have a vacancy for the School of Arts and Creative Industries.

    To apply, you must:
    - attend a training session (details on previous page)
    - complete the application form between 09:00 on Mon 17 November and 17:00 on Mon 24 November
    - submit your statement by 11:00 on Thu 27 November (form will be supplied to those who attend training)
