Apply to be a school representative
Here’s everything you need to know about eligibility to apply, how to apply, and the process to confirm yourself as a candidate.
Who is eligible?
You must have completed one year as a course representative at level four or above. This can have been before or including 2022/23, or you can be a current course rep, having been appointed in autumn 2023.
If you are in level four, you must have passed all assessments in semester A (autumn), and be on target to complete level four in semester B (spring).
If you are in level five or higher, you must have completed level four, and have passed all assessments in semester A (autumn), and be on target to complete your current level in semester B (spring).
How to apply
You can attend an information session where we will explain more about the work that student officers and school representatives do.
You must attend a training and preparation session. Attendance is compulsory. We will teach you about the roles, the rules of the elections, how you can write a good statement/manifesto, and how to organise a campaign.
To apply to become the school representative in the school of psychology, complete this nomination/application form. Nominations close at 20:00 on Monday 29 April.
You are not required to submit your statement (manifesto) before the training and preparation session.
