Data processing statement

As part of its engagement activities, we may collect and hold personal and special category data relating to students who participate in panels, including the panel of 100.

We are committed to the responsible and transparent handling of all personal information and confirms the following:
- All data will be collected with the informed consent of participants. No personal information will be sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party without appropriate legal basis or consent.
- Data will be used solely in connection with our strategic aims and initiatives, with the goal of enhancing the student experience at the University of East London.
- Participants have the right to withdraw their consent and/or request the removal of their personal data at any time.
- All data will be stored securely within our digital systems, in compliance with relevant data protection legislation.
- Access to participant data will be restricted to a limited number of authorised Students' Union staff. Aggregated data may be used for reporting and insights, ensuring no individual is identifiable unless express consent has been provided
