Time to Talk Day: Write a letter to your future self

Thursday 05 February 2026 - 11am - 1pm
East Building Atrium, Docklands

This Time to Talk Day, we’re doing something gentle and meaningful.

Earlier in the day, you’re invited to join our “Letter to Yourself” activity.
It’s a safe space where you can write a short letter to yourself like something kind, encouraging, or honest and keep it with you to read on a day when you’re not feeling great. You don’t have to share it with anyone. It’s just for you.

If you’re feeling low right now, or if you feel like talking would help more than writing, please come and talk to us. We’ll be hosting a Time to Talk session later in the afternoon in NB 1.02, where we can sit together, chat, listen, and support each other in a relaxed and safe space.

You’re also welcome to come to the letter-writing activity and ask us about what’s happening later in the day. We’ll be happy to explain and guide you to the session that feels right for you.

There is no pressure to speak, no pressure to be okay, and no pressure to take part in everything.
Time to Talk Day is simply about reminding ourselves that talking helps and we don’t have to do things alone.

Let’s help ourselves to make new friends and help to heal each other's stress by joining together to talk on Time to Talk Day. We will chat, we will share, we will cry and we will laugh to feel light. Who knows you might find a friend for life or a moment of your own for a while.
