Join the Occupational Therapy Society for a special cinema social as we take over the university to watch ‘On the Edge’.

On the Edge follows a young man navigating his mental health journey after a suicide attempt, exploring themes of resilience, identity, vulnerability and the importance of human connection. The film offers powerful moments of reflection, humour and honesty; themes that resonate strongly with occupational therapy values of holistic, person-centred practice.

This event is primarily a social evening, an opportunity to relax, connect with fellow OT students, and enjoy meaningful storytelling together in a comfortable environment. There is no formal discussion or academic expectation just community, popcorn, and a good film.

⚠️ Content note: The film contains themes relating to mental health and suicide. Please attend only if you feel comfortable doing so. You are welcome to step out at any time.

We look forward to seeing you there for a night of film, reflection, and connection.
