Committee training

Your annual compulsory training is there to fully equip you to run your groups for the rest of the year. Training will include important information around processing finance requests, booking space, event management, marketing your society and much more!

Training required for your role:

President: Intro to Societies, Event Management, Finance, Marketing and Communications, Health and Safety

Finance Officer: Intro to Societies, Event Management, Finance

Events and Admin Officer: Intro to Societies, Event Management, Marketing and Communications, Health and Safety

As training is compulsory, attendance will be recorded. Societies must have completed training before the end of the term.  If you have mitigating circumstances that means you cannot attend training, please contact students.union@uel.ac.uk with the reason you cannot attend training.
