On Thursday 23 May, students and staff congregated at Stratford’s Great Hall for an evening of celebration at the Students’ Union Awards!

The Students’ Union Awards are our way of celebrating the people who make a positive impact to our campus community every day, with categories covering staff, student groups and course representatives. We had over 700 student nominations, outlining stories of our staff providing exceptional teaching and support, and our students building communities, creating fun on campus, and working hard to represent students’ views.

It was a joy to read all the nominations, and an amazing evening of celebration featuring dinner, drinks, performances and dancing, alongside the presentation of our awards. We were also delighted to partner with Residential Life as they presented their own set of awards for halls residents.

Thank you to everybody who took the time to submit a nomination or to join us at the awards ceremony, and a huge congratulations to all of our winners. View the winners (marked **) and shortlists below.
