student officers

We have created a user group with the University to involve students in the development and evaluation of a new Track My Future (TMF) mobile app which will launch soon.

This is open to all students, not only those with an interest in IT, technology or apps. The group is more about general usability than very technical points.

Any student can apply to join the group, but we're starting with course reps. We're looking for students from a wide range of backgrounds and courses. We'll then select 30-40 students to participate.

As a member of the group, you would be expected to:
- Attend at least two group sessions with the TMF project team (you can attend more if you wish);
- Share your opinions, suggestions, and concerns about the TMF app features, design and usability;
- Test the app on your own device and provide constructive feedback on its functionality, performance and user-friendliness;
- Report any bugs, errors or issues that you encounter while using the app and suggest possible solutions or improvements;
- Be open-minded, respectful and collaborative with other group members and members of the TMF project team. We want you to challenge us as well as help us consider different perspectives.

If you participate, you'll get free drinks/snacks at the user group sessions. You'll get to contribute to the development of the TMF app to make it useful for students. At the end, you'll receive a certificate recognising your involvement in the project.

All meetings run 15:00-15:45. You can choose between the Tuesday group (Docklands) or the Thursday group (Stratford).
- Tue 16 Apr and Tue 30 Apr
- Thu 18 Apr and Thu 02 May
