Movie night: Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes

Monday 11 March 2024 - 7:15pm - 9:30pm
West Building theatre, Docklands campus

“Happy Hunger Games! And may the odds be ever in your favour.”

A prequal to the existing The Hunger Games movies, The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes tells the story of President Coriolanus Snow’s path to becoming the infamous tyrannical leader of Panem that we see in the rest of the franchise.

After his family’s fortunes are devastated by war, Snow becomes the mentor of a tribute from the poor District 12. Uniting with his mentee, Snow sees the opportunity to win back his family’s status and successes, torn between good and evil. Free snacks and drinks will be provided, and you may bring alone your own snacks and non-alcoholic drinks.

The film will start at 19:30 sharp.
