Using a mix of colourful mosaic tiles, glue, bamboo coaster, and safe-to-use crafting grout, you’ll design your own unique wooden coaster — perfect for brightening up your space or giving as a handmade gift. Whether you prefer neat patterns, abstract shapes, or something totally freestyle, this is your chance to play with colour and texture in a relaxed, friendly setting. No experience necessary — just bring your creativity and we’ll provide the rest. First, choose your coaster shape and mosaic tile colours. Next, practice laying out your tiles to create a design. Make sure to take a photo of your planned design because the next step is to clear the coaster and put a layer of the grout in the base to stick your tiles to. Finally, once your design is complete, fill in the gaps with crafting grout to finish off your coaster and bring the whole piece together. After 20 minutes, give the tiles a wipe to remove any excess grout. All items and supplies are available on a first come, first served basis — once they’re gone, they’re gone! We cannot reserve any items. One coaster per person to ensure everyone gets the chance to take part. You’re welcome to stay for as long as you like. Please keep the crafting tables tidy and make sure to put items back when you’ve finished using them.
